network: @auo

I am experimenting with the broadcasting abilities of this device. It would seem it can create text of this nature simply when I communicate the words to it? Fascinating! Ahahaha! Indeed, it even captures my laugh! Ahaha... how delightful...

[ well, u know, it's delightful to him, anyway. brain-to-text laugh is some good and important technology. ]

Well, it would seem that this network is not censored, so shall we speak freely? What do you all make of this city-state? It would seem an eclectic one. The people and the wildlife seem... though somewhat unorthodox, contented. No, more than contented. They seem quite proud. A mixed society with a strong identity tied to a city-state. And yet the world is an eccentric one, you might say.

But is the eccentricity merely a curious byproduct of a world which has been evolving since the most ancient times and now also has futuristic technology, or is there something more deliberate or coordinated at work?

Thoughts and findings?

[No, the concept of using user names hasn't quite made its way to him.]

i was told something rather interesting
that this world is the first of all worlds
and there is a sense of responsibility to other worlds due to this
though i do not know how exactly that responsibility manifests
does that mean meddling in the affairs of other worlds?

[Earth? What sort of society names their star after the ground? Although... military aid? There's some merit to that line of thought; Libra had been a soldier in a war that had taken down a dragon. And...]

tis true i know those from my [he almost types 'star' but corrects himself to use the local terminology] world who were drawn here are exceptional warriors
though tis passing strange they would seek aid from those whose ties to the mortal world have already been severed

[Rhea'li considers those words with some interest. He had no idea that Gilgamesh is a spirit; he seems rather flesh and blood here. More importantly, it implies that long after his passing, he did not pass into the Lifestream (or his star's equivalent of it). And he is rather unlike a primal...]

there is a practice from my home that shares similar traits
oft in times of strife against an opponent believed to be too powerful
peoples would summon beings called primals that they believed to be manifestations of their gods
but the practice is dangerous
for primals would enthrall their summoners and drain the land of energy

so if you are a spirit
are you the actual hero from legend?
or are you a manifestation that bears memories of the hero long passed?

[Rhea'li's relationship with gods and goddesses is... complicated. And the true nature of such beings...]

what do you mean by form of a caster class?
does the summoner exert some influence over your manifestation?

[Is Gilgamesh also a god killer?]

[Gilgamesh really does sound like a primal the more he talks about it. Legendary to peoples past? Check. Summoned to fight on behalf of his summoner? Check. Powers and personality influenced by the summoner? Check.]

if you are most powerful as an archer
then why summon you as a caster?
