[ The way Vash pops up onto the screen is kind of akin to a meerkat poking its head up to watch for predators. Except, in this case it's accompanied by a wave and a bit of a sheepish smile. ]

I thought a couple of games might be fun... you know, to meet people who are here we might normally miss.

[ He grins a little, the corners of his eyes crinkling with the expression as he leans in towards the camera, like he's adjusting some setting or another that can't be seen. Also these kinds of games are good for information gathering and sharing... there's a lot that Vash does not know as well as he wants so... ]

I think the easiest one would beeeee... [ He rocks back a little in frame, his head tilting a little before he holds up one finger. ] "What 3 things would you take to a deserted island?" Assuming no one has any special abilities. Boats kinda beat the spirit of the game too. You might learn something new about someone!

The other game's "two truths and a lie"! [ The one finger held up is joined by another, an impromptu peace gesture. ] The point is to give all three and the other person is supposed to pick what the lie is.

Give it a try! Might be fun, right?

Uh, did you say timeline? You can time-travel?

[Musashi wiggles her hand in a "so-so" gesture.] Well, not since I got here, no. And calling it "time travel" is kind of not right either! I couldn't control it, and I wasn't hoping between different points on the same timeline. I guess you could call them different worlds, if that helps! Worlds where time had unfolded differently, outside of Proper Human History.

[She could, and often did, revisit the same eras in each history, but each one was different, in ways both obvious and subtle. Each world was a new adventure, of unexpected challenges and trials to test herself against. What more could one ask for than that? Magisteria has definitely put an end to that, though. Musashi has been here months already, far longer than she'd normally have stayed before Rayshifting again.]

That's still incredible. The fact that you've witnessed multiple worlds would have been ground-breaking knowledge where I was from.

[ A slightly odd way of wording that, perhaps... William moves on before they can comment. ]

This is difficult though. You crossing timelines is true given how you speak of it. But whether you won a surfing competition or not...

[ He frowns in thought. ]

Ahh! I'll go with that as the lie anyway!

It was pretty disorienting, and even a little scary at first, but after awhile I got used to it. I've seen things you wouldn't believe! And I wouldn't trade those experiences or what I learned during my wanderings for anything.

[But that wasn't really her life. It was Tenma's, her other self. Her Saber self. But they'd reached an agreement after arriving in Magisteria. This life, here in Magisteria, was hers. Tenma's time had passed, and she was content to sleep. To come out if absolutely necessary, Musashi knows her gift could do it if push came to shove, but that was something they both wanted to avoid.]

I actually placed third. Fun time, though!

[ He wonders sometimes if he's had other lives before this that he simply does not remember. Why did Gracefeel single him out and allow him to retain his memories? Is there anyone else like him out there in other worlds? ]
